MACV-2 - 8" High Top - Coyote

I wore the boots for the first time today. The fit, both length and width are excellent. There is also great instep support. The boots seem to be well made but time will tell. My first impressions are very positive.

Good Boot

I’ve used these throughout OCS, and they’ve served me well so far. Comfortable. Tough. As someone with wide feet, I appreciate the toe box a lot. My only real complaint is that I do get blisters around my heel. Wearing sock liners under my socks does fix that, though.

These boots are incredibly comfortable, and the 8" means that no more tiny pebbles are getting into my boots when I'm on gravel. There is some break in of the heel cup required. I didn't know to use moleskin and got blisters at first. After I learned this, and well as how to make a surgeons know, everything worked out great. I love these boots and recommend them highly.
