It tastes like a lot of tenderizer has been put to it. It's tender, but not substantive like Jack Link's or what you find at Buc-ees, though theirs can be tough depending on the flavor.
It's ok jerky, but not very substantive. It's just different from what I prefer. It's probably perfect for old people, small kids, etc.
