Power Running Boards

These are awesome! The shop I took them to to have them installed said they were going to start recommending them to their customers. The quality is superb! I don’t install myself because my truck is new and the dealership told me it could void my warranty but they sent me to a shop to have them installed and the shop said it was actually really easy. Electric bed cover is next!

The mechanism design and easy installation style are well thought out. However, I’m not a fan of the long cables. There are only a few places to mount the module in a 2025 Ram 1500, leaving a bunch of unused cable to figure out where to hide. WolfBox Gear claims the running boards are cabin length, but that’s not true. They might fit well in a quad cab, but for a crew cab, they look way too small. Maybe they could offer larger end caps to change the running board’s appearance and make it look bigger, or simply offer the right side depending on the cab. I contacted their customer service for assistance. They sent me a text to submit photos and my concerns, but I haven’t received a response in a week. Lastly, because the running boards are low, there’s a bigger gap between the cabin step and the running board itself. I wish I could return them and get my money back. I’m not satisfied with the look.

Was very simple to install. I spent more time relocating the dampeners and deciding where i wanted to hid and tuck the wires than the acutal hardware install. Only thing that sucked was that it was missing one of the screws used to mout the actual step to the motor.
