Great pickups for a great price
I was skeptical it would make much of a difference, but I figured at the price it was a relatively low risk. Well, these pickups have completely changed to sound of the guitar (for the better). Not hard to install (after figuring out which diagram to use). Much more articulation on the transient. And (though it's cliche at this point), a much more open sound. Also, while the stock pickups on my Pacifica HSS were decent, the single coils, especially, didn't really have individual characters. All positions sort of sounded the same. With the new pickups, each position has a definitive sound, giving me lots of options for recording.

Exactly What I Pictured
These pickups completely transformed my $80 pawn shop guitar and gave it a true Strat tone. I immediately used it as the rhythm guitar on my newest single. Added a push/pull coil split for the humbucker and this thing is an absolute chef’s kiss. Already got my eye on a humbucker set for a future Les Paul mod
