Summarized by Shop
All Cane Creek headset bearings are durable, sealed cartridge bearings, and they’re interchangeable between headset series. Simply match the bearing size and drop in your new bearing. (See below for bearing compatibility).
We cannot guarantee compatibility with our bearings in a different manufacturer’s headset.

Never really thought about headset bearings until on my Tarmac SL7 I saw rust dripping from the top of the fork, and found the stock bearings . Since then, have obsessively kept them clean & greased.
When I saw these from Cane Creek, lighter & good seals, had to give them a try. They're ~16g, stock is ~26g. That's -20g for the pair, nearly another bearing! Works great, installed easily (easily for fork-drop kind of job). Only 2 rides in, but looks like easy upgrade on future bikes or any time needs replacing.
