Awesome
This was has been a great little budget scale and has been instrumental in dialing in espresso shots with my new varia grinder. Its nice and compact so it fits nicely under my cup when pulling a shot. Also have had a few spills and the scale is waterproof as advertised.

Great scale, but problems with the auto tare
The build quality of this scale is excellent. It's made from solid metal, not plastic, like similar scales. It weighs things well. It even comes with a 100g weight with which you can calibrate the scale. But on mine, the auto tare only worked part of the time. I also had trouble with the timer. The start button is within the "touch screen" type display, and you have to tap it just right to start the timer. But kudos to the support team at Whole Latte Love. They were very helpful when I consulted them about my problems.

I Would Pass
This AKU scale has not been reliable. It seems to constantly glitch out. The battery life seems to be good but the rubber battery cover is not connected to the body and is very easy to lose. I have an iKape scale i bought for less than half of the AKU that has been 100% reliable, basically same features, no glitching and half the cost. I would pass on the AKU
