Dodge Ram Tesla Screen 2009-2024

Overall, I'm happy with the decision to install the new Tesla Screen from Merge. The are several 'quirks' I'm having issues with such as I no longer get an audible notification that I have received messages which is a problem when traveling. I also miss the pop up notification I got on the OEM screen on my 2015 RAM. On the top information bar on screen, the temp is off by at least 15 degrees or more from the other two temp notifications in the system. It took a while of finessing the sound system but I think I finally got that figured out. The sound is now as good as the OEM Alpine system. Install was fairly easy just a little tough protecting the screen as I worked the wiring. An assistant would have been perfect. The fit and finish is excellent and has received many glowing remarks from passengers. I don't like that the rear view camera is not as clear as it was with the OEM system. This seems like an older color tv set with some reception issues. Usable but not as clear as before.

Installed in my driveway in just around 40 minutes it was plug-in play just like advertised. Everything worked the first time.

What an upgrade, added the sim car have a streaming service and now when we are taking the trailers somewhere the wife gets to watch TV. Happy wife happy life. Thanks for all the help. Would i recommend this product, only to people i feel what to change thier drive.
