The Superb Mattress

Pretty fantastic!

We tried out the entire range of mattresses in the Cotswolds showroom before purchasing. We were so pleased to find a 100% natural and 100% plastic-free mattress company, that were originally recommended to us by Schplendid, the natural sofa company. Despite the 9-week wait, we were initially very pleased with the arrival of our mattress, however soon learned that we must've ordered the wrong tension by mistake (we ordered Firm), as it felt like sleeping on a table, and we would both wake up incredibly achey! We tried our best to 'get used' to the tension, but reached out to NaturalMat, who were more than happy to exchange using their Sleep Policy and a £75 exchange fee. We are now waiting on a Medium tension mattress in replacement (another 9-week wait). Other things worth noting: This mattress is incredibly heavy. It's very difficult to turn or flip and needs two people to do so. And secondly, we bought it alongside a new protector, pillows and a duvet, and it definitely smelled like sheep for the first few weeks! We figured it must be because we opted for Organic Wool as opposed to any kind of treated wool. During the summer heatwaves, the smell got a little intense, and although our bedroom did smell like farm for a while, it seemed like we were sleeping in a bale of hay, which we found comforting.

Excellent Customer Service

We visited the showroom in Topsham where we received excellent service from Julian. We settled on a medium superb mattress. Made to order the mattress was delivered when promised and I don't think I have ever encountered such a friendly, capable and professional delivery team. They are a real credit to the company and it shows how to you can maintain quality when things are kept 'in house'. Fast forward 45 nights, I was finding the mattress a little too soft, despite putting in the time at the showroom, it's very hard to replicate how you'll feel after 8 hours plus in bed. I sent an email to discuss the sleep promise. I then received a phone call from Julian who couldn't have been more helpful, he suggested we stick with the superb but opt for the firm tension. It was no problem at all to make the change. Fast forward a few weeks and another outstanding delivery team came to take away the our first mattress and replace with the firm tension. Outstanding customer service all round. Thank you.

Insanely good

I've been sleeping on this mattress for well over a month now and I can honestly say I've never slept on a better mattress. I'm over the moon. I choose the brand based on their ethics and wanting to avoid memory foam. Visited their showroom in Devon and was impressed with their knowledge and help in finding the right type of mattress for my needs. I couldn't recommend this brand enough.
