Berley Dredger Crankbait

These lures dig deep and have a really nice action. I troll around 3 to 3.5mph and they do not blow out like other lures I've tried. I fish a small lake in east Texas, so I don't have a large species list to target. I catch Black Bass, Crappie, and very large Blue Gill/Shell Crackers with the Dredger. They are kind of expensive, so look out for timber, they'll get stuck for sure.

GREAT BAIT!

If swims in the lake I have caught in on the Gilly pattern Dredger. Everything from perch to lunker bass. I even caught a 9.5-pound Flathead catfish.

I have bought and used many crankbaits

I will admit, there are more "decent" crankbaits available now than ever before. I still find that the Berkley Dredger is one of the only ones (out of the 100's I own) that actually performs at or near its advertised depths. So many others claim unrealistic depths, as far as mid to deep diving baits I rarely have anything other than a dredger tied on.
