I got this unit because I got new kittens that were constantly trying to eat my adult cat's food. This has been a great purchase. I really like the customization available on this feeder. From the customizable digital display, to the feeding times and amount, to the ability to record my voice so it plays and calls my kitty to eat at the set times. The only thing I wish were different is the food tray angle. When my kitty eats some of the dry gets pushed toward the back of the tray and it's less easy for my cat to get to it, meaning he's isn't getting his full serving until more food drops. Overall
