It took me weeks of researching, talking to other hunters and what they use to finally decide what I was buying. As you know, this type of gear isn’t cheap and I wanted something that would last but didn’t break the bank. Well, this gear was great. Not only did it keep me dry but it was much warmer than I expected. It was quiet, warm, repelled water and as far as I’m concerned in the budget. I ordered extra large and I’m 6’ 215 pounds. It fit perfectly over my clothes, which was merino wool and hunting pants.

Good quality and comfortable. I would recommend going one size up if you plan on layering under it. I would definitely buy this jacket again. Also got the Saw tooth jacket which is very warm and comfortable.

Pleasantly Surprised

I am a very skinny fella, I am about 5'11" and weigh 140lbs, normally I would order a small but it's always hit or miss if the length of the sleeves would fit me or not. I was very nervous to buy this jacket because they did not offer a small size option, BUT I was able to ask their team and they gave me real world examples of friends in similar situations as me and said it worked great for them. When I got the jacket in the mail I was very pleasantly surprised! The fit was great! I like that it is adjustable around the waist and wrists and can still fit base layers and a puffy jacket underneath without feeling too bulky. The jacket is very quiet, works well in the wind, and overall I am very happy with the purchase. Other camo brands can be so expensive and I appreciate that Skre has made a decision to try and serve working people. Would buy again.
