Its perfect for pens and all the little things you need at arms reach. the smallest part is perfect for my earrings and rings, crystals, whatever little items you don't want to lose. for diamond painting you can put your tips or trash pot in there. the craftsmanship is stellar and flawless. its got heft for good stability. i chose the titanium color which is just beautiful as it changes in the light.
