Rogue Survivor

A good read

This was a pretty good book. I got the audio for free during the last 'Stuff Your Ears' event. The narrators did a pretty great job. The story focuses on a single mom named Isabel who meets an FBI agent, Connor, who is on medical leave. After a serious event involving her daughter and her daughter's friend, they go into protective custody. During that short period, Connor does everything he can to protect Isabel and her daughter, becoming her daughter's protector. In a sweet moment, Isabel's daughter tells Conner she never thought of having a stepdad before him. Despite the spice being very minimal, I actually enjoyed it. The story was very engaging on what was going on.

A Must Read!!!

Five bright and shiny stars for this broken hero’s book! The story is stellar but with the narration it’s just fantastic. I’ll be relistening to Rogue Survivor often!

Another great addition!

I love Patricia’s books and how the lgbtqia community is represented and not exploited in her books. Either this book we have older MCs, teenage kid, dealing with trauma and more. The themes are tackled really well and are researched well. Loved it!
