Great ultra high waisted shiny leggings

I really like the new black lacquer flat front legging. I took my usual size small in Emily Hsu leggings. For reference I am 5'5, 140 lbs, 29 inch waist, 38 inch hips. I normally wear a medium in other legging brands like Alo, but find that the size medium waist in Emily Hsu leggings is too big and slips down. My glutes and thighs are very muscular and big, so the small is snug at first in the legs and glutes, but loosens up permanently over time. The waist band has stayed up for me. I like the medium weight of the fabric. The shine looks great. I was worried the v seam in the front might look weird, but it looks good. I like the ultra high rise on Emily Hsu leggings more than any other legging on the market because it sits at my natural waist and covers my belly button. The size small stays anchored at my waist and doesn't slip. I own the jet shimmer leggings and the onyxflex leggings, but feel that this third pair of black shiny leggings was different and worth adding to my collection. Another thing to note about sizing: I am pretty short 5'5 with very short legs. I originally purchased the 7/8 leggings, which is my normal length in other brands. But in Emily Hsu leggings, the 7/8 hit me pretty high above the ankle and made my legs look shorter/stockier than I wanted. I prefer the full length inseam as it hits at my ankle bone and is more flattering.

These were for my wife. She says they are comfortable, true to size, and the seams are not noticeable. I think they look amazing!
