Fantastic Working Knife

This was such an upgrade from the cheaper, beater knife I had been using at work! I currently work on the service side of the fire sprinkler fitter trade and I’ve used this Skinner so much in the past month. I don’t deal with wire but have used this knife to scrape off old gaskets on flanges, cut off stuck gaskets on grooved couplings for sprinkler pipe, cut roots and shrubbery when doing underground jobs, and much more. I’ve only had to touch up the edge with a ceramic plate so far and it still shaves hair off my arm. The blade is about half the thickness of my last knife and the difference is very noticeable. It is much easier to get into tight spots to cut material than the last knife. This was a much needed upgrade!

Great product

Bought this as a top out gift for a friend and I was very impressed by the quality. Now I’m fighting the urge to by myself one ha!

Lineman knife

Nicest knife I’ve ever skinned wire with. I work in socal and we have 90% covered conductor so I’m skinning every day and I haven’t sharpened this knife once and still have no problem skinning.
