Weekend Warrior

I haven’t tested it for a weekend away yet, but everything I need fits in nicely, and the quality appears to be good. I appreciate all the compartments and pockets. The only issue I’ve encountered so far is that the bag I received was not the colour I ordered (I ordered Twilight Blue and received Ice Blue), so I’ve taken one star off for that. Shipping was quick and painless.

It would have been better if there were a divider in the boot storage compartment. A flexible divider would help keep the boots separated and prevent them from rubbing against each other, which could cause scratches or scuffing. I also think the helmet storage compartment being on the outside of the bag is not ideal. It doesn’t provide much protection for the helmet, especially when the bag is placed in an airplane’s overhead compartment and other passengers’ luggage may be placed on top of or pushed against it. A more protected, padded helmet compartment inside the main bag would be a better design. The main reason I bought this bag was because I need to take my laptop with me all the time. I use the outside pocket to store my laptop because it is easy to access during airport security checks, and in that respect, the design worked very well for me.

Solid bag that is am mostly happy with. Lots of room and you can fit everything you need for a weekend except your skis. Two flaws I found. First is when you attach the helmet holder at the top you can't use the top pocket because the loops to anchor the holder are in the pocket and you can't close the zipper. Second, the goggle pocket is almost useless if the you have the bag fully packed because the pocket is between the two halves of the bag and there is no room left for your goggles when the bag is full packed. Goggles will certainly get crushed in this setup. Would be better if the pocket was truly on the exterior of the bag
