Outpost Safari Hat

the perfect hat for someone who wants sun protection without the floppiness of a bucket hat. If you're a baseball cap where, but want the protection, this is the hat. I wouldn't recommend if you have a hat size 7 5/8 or bigger.

Love this hat. I guide sea kayaking trips around the porcupine islands in Bar Harbor, ME and this is just what I've been looking for. Soft but rigid enough that it doesn't flop around like a bucket hat. Great sun protection and when the wind kicks up I'm never worried about it flying off with the adjustable head and chin straps. Thanks for another fabulous piece of gear KM!

Might be too heavy of a material for some on the hottest of days, but it holds its shape well and is a nice compromise for sun protection between the traditional large brimmed sun hat and a more compact option like a baseball cap.
