SIP Airtight Drinking Valve

Love it, But....

I work conventions, so the SIPmask helps me drink my gallon a day without having to keep removing my mask, and I love that. However, despite packing smoothies to also be able to eat safely while I work, the SIPmask doesn't work with the larger sized straws needed. I don't know if it is just not safely feasible or too expensive to have a larger size, but if at all possible, please consider it.

Does What It Says

I installed a SIP valve in an Aura N95 and took it for a qualitative fit test. Zero drop in fit with the valve in place and cover off. The only problem is it isn’t sustainable when you add in the cost of other paraphernalia needed (masks, tape, tests, nasal spray) if taking other mitigation methods. I’ll sparingly use this, but good to have a back up option if really needed. Lower the cost and I can more comfortably recommend to others.

Valve great- straws not so much

Valves are great and easy to install, but sadly all the straws we got cracked and split the moment we tried to use them. I think we just got a bad batch maybe? Or they got squished during delivery? So I’ll probably look for a metal straw to use instead, but deffo recommend the valves themselves
