I really didn’t think I needed it! But I DO!
I really didn’t think I needed it, and I don’t store my frames in it so I just didn’t think to get it. But now that I have it, it comes in so handy for me to drain frames after uncapping…I also added a couple paint strainers around the plastic filter like a double pillow case one from each side to filter out any fine particulates. Had a few frames collapse in the heat and this was perfect to crush and strain the honey.
A little big to take on removals for a swarm on a regular basis but a new keeper will be able to feel safe in a car if they used it to capture a swarm.

The hive Butler turned out to be an excellent tool to use while decapping my honey frames.

Game Changer
The Hive Bulter makes uncapping honeycomb less messy, the frames are easy to handle and manipulate, and allows the honey in the honey bound cappings to drain into a reservoir. The opaque plastic makes it easier to see level of honey in the reservoir.
