The Only Safe Option for Me!
I looked at a lot of different options to secure my trailer. I ended up returning two security systems after purchasing them and being assured they would work. It was suggested to me to check out ProvenLock. There customer service department was exceptional in helping purchase the right lock for my hitch. They even asked for pictures of the hitch and made a solid recommendation. Don’t waist your time with the other guys and sleep well with ProvenLock

Just got it
Just researched and purchased this lock for my Brinkley trailer as the last trailer was stolen (I don’t have a deterrent device on that one). Seems solid and well built. They should allow an option to buty an extra set of keys or provide a third one at the time of purchase to save time and shipping cost for an order of keys. But happy with purchase and although nothing is going to be the perfect deterrent - this appears to deter the magority of rv thieves.

Revisions made
This is my third 2517-D1 and the first two were exactly the same and fit easily but with the slight revisions made on the new one has made it somewhat of a pain to get on and have the chains sit where I can get it to fully go on
