2012 Shou Mei White Tea

Absolutely amazing experience. Ordered the 2012 Shou Mei White tea and it did not disappoint. Amazing fragrance and flavor for a reasonable price. I also received an additional white tea and small tea set as a gift and have enjoyed both. Amazing quality tea and service. Will buy again and try tea club subscription.

The 2012 Shou Mei White Tea is a specimen defined by its biochemical robustness and exceptional longitudinal stability. Following a fourteen-year maturation period, the material has reached a state of sensory equilibrium where the profile remains invariant across extensive brewing cycles. The initial infusions present a transient, vestigial roasted marker which rapidly dissipates, revealing a dominant, consistent core. This core is characterized by persistent sweetness with high-fidelity notes of honey and pear. The extraction curve is remarkably linear, resisting terminal thinning and maintaining its structural integrity through seven or more brews.

Love 2012 Shou Mei. It brings beautiful notes of the apple orchard, leaves, baked apples, warm autumn days... I even baked an apple on the fire to compliment this tea.
