Focal Elex Headphones - B Stock

Excellent set, bought B-Stock, pads were slightly worn but other than that looked new to me. These are my one and done open back pair, sounds great with my entire library which spans music from 50s-present, Death Metal to Old School R&B to Some Country to classic Jazz. The Elex is a solid all rounder that responded well with a tube preamp to my headphone amp to slightly smooth out the sound. I still recommend these without a tube in the mix, I just prefer a ever so slightly mellowed out sound from them.

It's very similar to the Clear OG, but much less expensive. And it slams even better than its big brother. Like the Clear, its midrange gives the fabled Sennheiser 6X0 phones a run for their money. it's great foe vocals.

delivered in just a couple of days.. very quick. The open box item was in brand new condition, The add cables were also good.. I only wonder just where these cables come from ??
