General-Purpose Microfiber Towel

A true workhorse microfiber I’ve bought quite a few microfiber towels over the years, and these are the kind I like having in quantity. They’re not a towel I’m afraid to actually use. I can grab one for general cleaning, interiors, door jambs, wiping down products, utility work, or any of the dozens of little jobs that come up while detailing. What I like about having a good general-purpose towel is that it lets me save my more specialized towels for the jobs they were actually bought for. I don’t need to use a premium paint or coating towel to wipe down a door jamb or clean an interior panel. I also keep my towels separated by purpose, so having enough dependable workhorse towels makes the whole process easier. Once one gets assigned to a dirtier job, it stays in that category instead of going back onto sensitive surfaces. They’re simply useful towels that get used over and over again. Sometimes that’s the best compliment you can give a detailing product — it doesn’t sit on the shelf.

You can never really have too many good general-purpose microfiber towels when you’re detailing, and these have been a really useful workhorse towel for me. I like having towels that I don’t have to overthink. Grab one for general cleaning, wiping products, interior work, door jambs, light cleanup, or whatever else comes up during a job. Not every task needs one of your expensive specialty towels, so having a good general-purpose microfiber helps keep the nicer towels dedicated to the jobs they were bought for. They feel good in the hand, they’re useful for a lot of different jobs, and they’ve fit well into the way I organize my detailing towels by purpose. Nothing complicated here — just a solid microfiber towel that actually gets used.
