This is a great little pedal. While using the internal and external controls, you can easily find unity gain to your liking. I am continuing to explore positions Before & After other pedals including digital reverb and delay pedals, as well as overdrives and other types of pedals.

An amazing boost pedal. Works great at the front or end of my signal chain. I use the Storm at the front of my board & the SVDS last before it hits the front of EVH 5150 III EL84 & 6L6 100 watt heads. It truly sounds great in all of amps, not just EVH rig.
