Excellent, as Victoria Goddard’s work always is.
Very subtle in the references to Yshtar.
I have to say, though, that being from Texas, it doesn’t incline me to visit the northern parts of this continent except maybe in the middle of July. (I strongly suggest that perhaps people may not want to visit here from May through September.)
Thank you for a wonderful read.

I have read every book by Victoria Goddard at least twice, and I was so excited when In Lonely Lands came out. It is a great novella and Victoria’s writing is so incredible. Thank you, Victoria!
