Wish it were bigger and had more distributed heat

Pretty good product, and I suppose it works as advertised. I'm using it for golf and found it a little frustrating to get my hands feeling like they were fully inside and protected from the cold (I'm 5'9", not very large hands). The bar gets nice and toasty, which is great, but I often felt like the palm side of my hands were getting help, but the other side and my knuckles not so much. I wish there were some wiring built into the fleece that surrounds your hands (like an electric blanket). The batteries are brutal. I reluctantly bought a second battery for fear that I'd forget to charge the one I just used. Good thing, because one battery didn't last the 4-hour round on the medium setting (temps were in the low 40's), even though I think it was rated to last at least that long. By the way, the medium setting is plenty hot; the high setting was actually too much, and again would almost feel like it was burning my palms but leaving the other side of my hands feeling cold (which, again, is why they need to integrate more comprehensive wiring). Anyway, GET THE SECOND BATTERY! It's annoying to have to spend even more for something that is probably already too expensive, but it's pretty useless if you run out of charge. The other problem with the battery is the charging time. I've never seen anything like it. IT...IS...SO...SLOW..........It takes hours and hours to charge. I gave up and found another block to get my second one charging so that I'd have them both for the next day's round of golf. Great idea, and I imagine they can make some improvements that will get this to 5-stars. It was more convenient than my previous solution of the hand-warmer packets inside of big mittens, but actually not as effective and comfortable.

Out of the box, the product is nice, tested to make sure it works – it works good. The real test will be turkey season!
