LOVE the gloss but I'm sad the liner isn't great

I'm an addict for your lipgloss...AND the color of the liner I bought with it is the perfect shade BUT...I don't know if this is a defect, or just the formulation but the liner just doesn't give off much color. Kind of like how a REALLY OLD liner just dries up and doesn't deposit color any longer. But this isn't dry...

I’m in love!
