Easy set up, IR control a nice bonus
I got the hub so I could connect my switches to the internet for home automation. I didn't know it also works as an infrared remote control! That's a nice addition, and it works from a surprising number of angles, sometimes with objects in the way.

Works great with some devices
Some devices (eg Luminara candles) work great and setup easily. Others (blinds, lamp) are tricky and while I may be able to get them to work, I haven’t spent enough time. The AI thingy was good at turning off the lights at a specific time but said it failed and it actually worked so I’m not sure what happened there. I like the product so far, I just wish it was easier to connect my devices.

Best way to keep your curtains clean
Love SwitchBot because the curtains open and close on a schedule. Keeps my curtains clean so I don’t have to manually open and close them. I highly recommend and get the solar panels. Keeps them charged up with the sun!
