Was what I expected. The only thing was there was no tooling callout for how he did the carving. Outside of that the patterns and coloring of them was good. I already have project to use it on.

thought the patterns were the imprint type like others I've bought, I really didn't want a traceable pattern

Good patterns

These patterns won’t tell you what tools to use so if you’re brand new at it…. well it’ll be quite a steep learning curve. I make a few practice runs and use different tools for different effects and then pick something I prefer over the others. Once I get it down on practice scrap leather I’ll give it a try on a project. After a few projects it starts to look decent and after a few more I know which tools I prefer and I start using them a bit better. Someday I may even become good at this.
