They definitely do not reduce noise to what advertised. A bit of rolled up toilet paper in the ear blocks out more sound. Should have gone with my gut when I saw they do not meet New Zealand standards.

One of my favourite purchases

Bought these back in December 2025 due to migraines causing bad ear sensitivity, these have been perfect! I notice a massive difference in any situation, whether I'm in a crowded church hall, at a windy beach, or even while trying to sleep with loud crickets, barking dogs, and a snoring husband! I can still hear people talking to me, but it dials down the sharp sounds so well. Love how cute they look, too.
