Fabric is too heavy - uncomfortable

I tried to make this jacket work for me. The biggest problem is that this fabric weighs too much. Another issue is that the collar is too big and wide. The fit is also not good because of the weight of the fabric, so it doesn't feel natural drape. It's like wearing an armor shield. First time I see a bed design from 7D. I have bought over 70 items from them.
