The "H" plate adds that little bit of aggression that felt like it was missing from my shaved with the "R" plate. I bought from the "seconds" bin, but honestly, I couldn't tell you what this base plate did to deserve the designation. Looks great. Shaves great. And gets my Windsor just where it needs to be. Perfect.
