Solid Bar

I wanted a Swiss bar for benching and not much else. I looked at several models and the Arch Nemesis was the least expensive of the ones I considered. This works great and I think I saved myself a lot of money for the same function I would get with any Swiss bar. I thought I might be bothered by the lack of moving sleeves and the grip placement. For benching, the fixed sleeves make no difference to me. The grips are placed at the right width for me, I'm 6'1" with a regular build. The knurling is more than sufficient for incline and flat benching. This easily racks on my Rep PR5000. As seen in YouTube videos, the arch bar rests with the arch curving upwards, leaving less clearance than a straight bar. Being aware of that, I have not hit my head yet. It has a notch to use on a lat pull down or rowing machine but with the money you save on this bar, you can buy more appropriate pull down bars that weigh far less than this one. As for benching, I really appreciate the extra range of motion I get from this bar. I would buy this again and I am glad I did not pay more for other brands customizable options when I just don't need them. So, this bar does the job it was supposed to do and didn't cost much. Between this bar and the safety squat bar that also costs less but does the same thing as much pricier models, BOS has literally saved me hundreds.

An excellent value.

This bar provides an excellent value for the price. It seems well made and gets the job done with a minimum of muss or fuss. I like the fact that it can use normal-sized collars. The knurling feels good in the hand. I am content with my purchase and recommend it, for anyone who is looking for a solid value Swiss Bar
