1 X Aussie Code

I picked up Aussie Code after reading a lot of very positive reviews and wanted to share some honest feedback. The game is definitely funny and gets a few laughs early on, but the phonetics can sometimes feel like a stretch. In a few rounds this made it almost impossible for any team to actually “win,” which took some of the competitive fun out of it. It’s also a game that only really works for a handful of plays — once you’ve seen most of the answers, the replay value drops pretty quickly. That’s understandable for this style of game, but I was expecting something a bit more realistic so you could progress through rounds with genuine competition. Unfortunately, after a few rounds of repeated failed guesses, I noticed my guests starting to lose interest. Fun concept overall, but better suited to short bursts rather than a full game night.

Absolutely love these, so mich fun and laughter. Played with some friends and had the best games night ever in a long time.
