ELK MIPS Snow Helmet

High quality helmet that does not disappoint

For the price of $70, this helmet is amazing. Boa tightening on the back to secure the fit, earmuffs to keep my ears warm, fuzzy strip under the chin to prevent chaffing, MIPS technology. This helmet keep me warm and safe as my friend dragged me on ungroomed black diamonds.

I am one of those old timer's forced into wearing a helmet by the new Italian law, which I dare say will spread elsewhere in this overly officious world we live in - where individual choice and responsibility has been taken over by the state. So I really didn't want a helmet. But I've got the excellent Outdoor Master Falcon goggles, and so wanted something compatible. It was rather pleasing to find that the helmet that matched my goggles was actually one of the best priced, one of the lightest and relatively inoffensive in a muted grey with a lower profile than many. I still feel like a buffoon wearing it, I know that over 14mph they are ALL useless for anything but a minor fall. However, if you are forced into wearing one then I can highly recommend Outdoor Master. Quick inexpensive delivery to the UK, no customs to worry about and according to my helmet wearing buddies this light MIPS helmet is right up there with the best.

My first new helmet! Have always worn hand me downs. This is a plum red. Fits great, is warm, and pairs well with the goggles I have. Very satisfied. Oh, the price was very affordable! Matte rose.
