Lume X1 is excellent

But if you're here looking at these, you already knew that. Super thankful Jackson is offering all of these drivers for sale. Grabbed a 31mm Lume X1 for a D4SV2. I had originally ordered the light with W2s, and while the throw was okay, it couldn't match a dedicated thrower. Then I got a Fireflies E04 with their FFL505A in ~3800K, which didn't throw quite as far, but is warm and high CRI, much more useful light. Almost sold the D4SV2, but then noticed that there is a Lume X1 driver for this light... And Jackson has 5050 MCPCBs and custom aux boards for this light. With this driver, those boards, and some delightful SFT-70 4000K in hand, I now have a unique and extremely compelling D4SV2. The beam pattern with the Angie-M optic is perfection. This mod didn't just breathe new life into this light, it transformed into one of my favorite lights, a true holy grail for me.

Works great, I am teaching a buddy how to build enthusiast grade lights from parts so this worked perfectly being able to order it as a board without the leads soldered on so I could teach him where goes where and why. If youre in the US and aren’t ordering your parts from Jackson then you have infinitely more patience than me. I get an idea and want to start it ASAP so being able to place an order and start building within 2 days is insanely satisfying to me. Keep up the great work Jackson!
