UNIT 1 Remote

The turn signal remote is very cool! (And the only way to get your helmet to signal turns if you own a Velotric.) I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the mounting assembly. It uses a rubber band type of affair to mount the remote to the handlebars. It's easy to put on, but moves around when trying to press both right and left buttons at the same time (that's how you both turn on the remote and remotely turn on the helmet's lights). I have to use both hands to do that or the remote slips around the handlebar and gets out of proper position. I sure wish it had a normal Allen screw or Phillips screw mount to secure it better to the handlebar so it won't move when being turned on and off. It actually comes with two rubber bands and I have used them both in tandem to try and lock down the position of the remote but it still moves around. V2 needs a better mounting situation...

I combined the Neon helmet with the tail light and remote. I think this is the best upgrade to my bike! I was concerned about being seen by cars, etc and this provides excellent coverage for that. The tail light and helmet sync right up with the remote and having direction signals as well is great. Very happy with purchase.

Overall good quality and function. A clamp style mount would work better because with the shifter and brake perch sitting between it and the grip I have to reposition my hand in order to use it. Other than that it’s a solid design
