The grinder is absolutely fantastic. I was upgrading from the Eureka mignon zero (55mm flat burrs), and was blown away when I compared espresso brew with the same coffee and recipe, ground by these two grinders. Coffee from Niche came more balanced, less acidic, with more visible note separation. I was surprised that the Niche quietly upgraded the burr carrier, fixing the popcorning issue that was previously present by adding sort of “wings” at the top. The grinder has true zero retention, without need to use bellows, or tapping/wobbling the grinder - just let it run for 5-10 more seconds after last bean is ground and you’re good to go. Disassembly for cleaning is also super easy. Build quality is top notch, and the grinder looks fantastic. It timeless design will fit both classic and modern machines. The bottom plate fits Weber’s blind shaker with ease. When run it’s quieter compared to other grinders, and the sound it makes is not in any way disturbing or unpleasant. I recommend!
