I was loving the Intake system to curb my snoring. I’ve used it for years and never traveled without it. However, the recent redesign of the nose stickers was unsuccessful and has made the system almost unusable. Once the stickers started coming in the black envelopes, they became hard to peel off the backing and the stickers will not stay on all night. I tried different size bands, rubbing alcohol on my nose first, and different placements but nothing solved it. They just won’t last all night. Yesterday I found a cache of the old stickers in the white envelope in the back of a drawer and those stickers stayed on all night no problem, which confirmed for me the redesign/reformulation is the issue. Please look into this. I love my Intake system and want to keep using it for years to come! But that’s impossible if the stickers won’t stay on.

The new design of the hexagonal cuts in the paper backing of the adhesive metallic nose stickers does not release very well from the adhesive. This requires using a finger to disengage it from the paper backing. This introduces skin cells and oils on the skin to the adhesive creating an area of decreased adhesion. I have noticed that I have had adhesion failure in the morning almost daily since this adaptation from the straight tab on the prior iteration of the paper backing. This is definitely not an improvement.

I’ve been using these nose strips for a couple of years now, and I’ve really come to rely on them as part of my bedtime routine. Overall, I love the product!
My only grievance is that the paper backing has changed a few times. I’ve noticed that I strongly prefer the more sheer, smooth backing—it was so much easier to peel off and prepare the strip for use. Unfortunately, I’ve only received that version a handful of times.
The backing I receive most often now has the hexagon-shaped graphic on it. It works, but it’s noticeably more difficult to peel away and get the nose strip ready.
I’m not sure why the backing has changed so much, especially when there was a version that was clearly easier to use. I’d love to see the smooth, sheer backing brought back permanently!
