Great hardware, outdated QMK software

The hardware was all very well packaged and easy to solder without a manual, even for a beginner like me. Unfortunately, the QMK firmware for the macropad is not part of the main QMK github branch, so I had to spend a few hours learning how to add it locally, and couldn't use the QMK configurator site to easily customize the keymap.
