Love this feeder
I had one of these feeders that came with the upgrade kit for wooden hives. I liked it so much I bought 3 more feeders. I do put a small piece of sponge as I was having an issue with some bees drowning on my first feeder. Customer service gave excellent advice.

Say goodbye to drowned bees and messy hive top feeders! We’re big fans of the Apimaye dual feeders!
Floating wood racks and hive top feeders just kept drowning my bees. Switched to the dual feeders and they’ve been a game changer! Really handy for pollen patties and winter fondant too! Thanks Apimaye!

Add a sponge cloth
Great feeder. But I take sponge cloth, double it over after cutting to size and slide into the liquid gates. It avoids bees drowning. Very sturdy built.
