Great speaker quality, but incorrect positioning and limited app features

The big advantage of the OpenEar pro is the impeccable sound quality which is pleasant to the ear and can be configured to the user's taste through the in-app equalizer. However, the device has a defect - one speaker is half a centimeter further away than the other, which makes the sound volume uneaven (louder on one ear and less loud on the other). This means that when I want to use them, I have to spend a lot of time positioning them to try and make the sound equal between both ears. Since the product has this problem, there should be a setting in the app to change the volume separately for the left and right ear. Another unexpected negative point was the need to log-on to use the app - what happens in the future if the company's server goes offline, how will the users configure the equalizer? I see this as having the potential of being a great product, but the implementation suffered.

Great price per quality, battery last really long and are comfortable to use. I do MTB and hiking and I haven't had problems in using them. I appreciate open air earbuds cause I can hear what's around me. Obviously with wind you will suffer some problems in hear properly but I think it's more important to hear the traffic
