BARELY THERE

this was my first time purchasing beef tallow for skin care! I wanted to try it out since I had heard so many good things. I used it on my feet, and put socks on afterwards. my skin felt super smooth! I think I really would give it five stars, but the smell is what I just can't get past. Even though it may be faint to others, it smells like hamburgers to me. I think unscented/"barely there" made me think it wouldn't smell like beef lol and that's my fault for not understanding. I am just very sensitive to smells and I just couldn't do it. I only used it on my feet to try it out, but had to cover my feet with socks & I could still smell the beefy scent all day. I couldn't imagine having it on my face and smelling like that all day. I am bummed I don't like it because it feels sooo nice & I know you ladies create quality products! I have gifted to someone who does enjoy it, and just wanted to leave an honest review in case someone else out there wants to try it, but is smell-sensitive like me. <3 I might just have to find a slightly scented option to try.

Received my order on a hot day, so I think it brought out more odor. Leaving it in the fridge helped to even out the smell and brought out more of the acid beads that I like in this product. I will continue purchasing.
