5V version is great, in a regular room you can get around 4.5V, in bright indoor light you get 5V. Still testing the units I got but have high hopes they will run some microcontrollers indefinitely. I was very disappointed in the 3V version, even under bright indoor light it only outputs about 2.7V. I had hoped to use these to run MCs but at 2.7V I can't even do 3.3V logic signaling. So if you are looking for something to power MCs only get the 5V version.

To be honest, I have no idea what I’m going to go with this thing. However, this opens the door for all sort of possibilities and I am happy to have it on hand for future projects.

I found that it takes a very bright light to get 5v out. It can't supply enough Millsaps to power very much.
