Field Sling

It is a good bag.

This is a very nice bag for its size. Just enough room to carry a small sketchbook, a travel tin of watercolors, a few brushes and a few ink pens and pencils. Even though some may think its size keeps you from carrying everything you need. I think it's size keeps you from carrying too much and just what you need. If this bag somehow disappear tomorrow, I would not hesitate to purchase another.

The Perfect Companion

Earlier this year I bought the Mini Field Journal to house my notebooks and sketchbooks for daily use. I was very satisfied with the quality of it, and it became as essential to my day to day life as my wallet, keys, or phone. I bought the field sling to carry it, and have found it to be just as useful and well made as the mini field journal. I don’t typically write reviews for products, but I can honestly say I recommend both of these products!

I just completed a trip with my new Lockby Field Sling and I could not be more pleased. I decided a while back to travel lightly with carry on items. I now check in most of my items. A little extra time at baggage claim is worth it for me to not struggle to find carry on space or lose my legroom to a backpack. The Field Sling has just enough space to carry the essential items like my iPad mini, keys, charge cords, etc. Plus it is ideal to use on my regular hikes at my destination. I was tempted to buy the larger sling but this one does the job brilliantly.
