SwitchBot Blind Tilt

Good product

I bought blind tilts for my elderly parents' home but installed first to test in my home and they are working well here as hoped. I will reinstall them later this fall at parents' place and maybe buy some eventually for myself since it is a nice convenience to have.

Pretty good product, could be better!

Overall, I'm really pleased with the products. It's what I was looking for to open and close my blinds automatically. I do wish it were quieter and that it had more ability to add.light detect settings. Right now there's only two, and I'd like a lot more flexibility to adjust the blinds automatically based on the light exposure.

ADHD life hack

I've waited two years to write this review because I wanted to see how they held up over time. These little things are amazing. I'm the kind of person who will totally forget to open the blinds, especially if I have to lean over something to get to them. It'll start with just one day of skipping them, then before you know it, I'm living in the dark permanently. My houseplants deserve better, so I decided to try these out. I had trouble with one of my curtain rods being too thick for the housing, so I had to get a replacement rod, and I have to recalibrate them every now and then. I use the solar panels and have only ever had to manually recharge one of them that gets a lot of shade. But those are paltry issues compared to living like a vampire. I like the schedule feature, but I also bought a little remote to act like a light switch so people without the app can operate them. Robot blinds for the win.
