It works, but its not an actual saw holding pack unfortunately, just an after thought using an exisiting helmet pouch. Once the saw is on you csnt easily access the rest of the pack. Also for holding long handle tools like shovel or pulaski isnt ideal with the small pounch there and no dedicated handle strap like a ski or snowmobile pack does for probe and shovel. The only thing they got right was the nail pack, otherwise its a large version with different material of a normal hydro pack. The most disappointing evoc product ive ever used.
