Ogroff

Really Enjoyable Movie!

Great Amateur Film

I am beginning to believe that the French are the best amateur film makers in the world. The list of famous French amateurs (some became professionals of course) is a long one I cannot rehearse here but this 1983 horror film shot in Super 8 is basically a silent film with a music track and sound effects. The director manages to use many silent film techniques to tell the story. I was amazed at how well it was done. It also has one of the best horror film posters I have ever seen. I think I almost bought just because the cover looked so good!

Ogroff is a 1983 horror movie in the vein of a “slasher” flick. If you are into slasher films and enjoy movies about people being hunted in the backwoods I think you’ll enjoy this film. It also has a lumberjack twist that both my friends and I enjoyed. Bleeding Skull has been putting out amazing features that would be forgotten if not for them. This one is highly recommended. Packaging and presentation are excellent!
