Beautiful looking chain
I only have one ride with this chain on the bike and it runs smooth. I'm not really worried about the longevity as I have been using KMC chains for a while now. I am using this chain on a Trek e mountain bike so I am curious as to how long it will last.

Tired of dirty drive components
I've been a fan of KMC chains for quite some time - the quick links are a blessing for installing/removing chains for cleaning. I been using liquid chain lubes for many years (and along with that, the the chore of cleaning dirty chains and drivetrain components), I thought I would take the plunge and give waxing a shot. The price for the pre-waxed X12 was great for this. After deep cleaning all my drive components, I cut/installed the pre-waxed chain. I was pleasantly surprised by how well everything worked right "out of the box". After a few rides (150 miles), I used the the KMC GO Chain Wax (just a small drop on each link), and the whole system was even better than before. Shifting was great, and the whole system was nice and quiet. Now, once a week I brush off the chain, and rewax. It's been 3 weeks (750 miles), my whole drivetrain has stayed super clean and I couldn't be happier with the setup.
