Cocktail Set No. 1

I have always wondered what I could use the gel mat for as it didn’t seem to have a purpose in my mind. I finally tried out putting it under my canvas and then put drills down and what do you know! I really like having the gel mat under my canvas as I am dp. It holds the canvas in place and I really like putting down drills with the mat underneath. I really enjoy this set, the drill field is so clear and the drills are superb. Hardly any trash and all drills have some trash in them no matter where they are from. I am really impressed by these small canvases and will definitely get more once I finish my 5 sets I bought because I couldn’t make up my mind what to get.

This was my first experience with diamond painting so I wanted to start small and with square drills only. This set was a good one for me to start on. I had a little bit of trouble keeping my lines perfectly straight but eventually got the hang of it. I did see more drills with chips out of the corners than I would have liked and one of my colors was missing however the company replaced it with an entirely new full kit which I donated to my daughter. She does diamond painting so I'm sure she probably has enough replacement drills for the ones I need to complete my set. I have now completed 7 of the 12 canvases in my kit and I am very pleased with how they turned out.

I ordered Cocktails set #1 for the colors and am not disappointed. Looks good! These are quick and easy finishes for in between larger projects.
